Reduction of Services at Dale Veterinary Clinic

A letter to our Dale Veterinary Clinic Community,

As we face the ever-changing circumstances related to COVID-19, we find ourselves having to make unprecedented decisions about the services we can provide. Among this uncertainly, we are focused on three things: getting our staff, communities and business through this crisis so that all emerge fit to face the future together.

Given what we know today, we believe it’s our duty as an ethical business to do what we can to slow the spread of this virus and minimize the impact on our hardworking healthcare professionals. As such, we have decided to temporarily reduce our business hours and the type of veterinary services we provide during those hours.

Starting Tuesday March 24th, we will be open from 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday, and we are closed Saturday and Sunday, and may change those hours accordingly, as we monitor the recommendations from Public Health and The World Health Organization. Our Veterinarians and Care Team will be providing ESSENTIAL MEDICAL VISITS AND SURGERY ONLY. This means, that if your pet has a wellness (or annual vaccine) appointment scheduled, we will postpone the visit until we resume a full capacity of doctors and staff. If your pet becomes ill outside of these hours please contact your closest emergency veterinary hospital. Products, like pet food, treats, litter and supplements can be ordered using our online store and delivered straight to your home (see the link below). Medication refills will still need to be picked up at the hospital or you can arrange delivery through courier.

For the time being, with the reduced capacity at Dale Veterinary Clinic, our phone service, email responses and digital orders may take extra time and we appreciate your understanding and patience with our team during this transition.

As the situation surrounding Covid-19 rapidly changes, we will continue to evolve our response to it. This is unchartered territory for many of us, so please remember to be kind and do what you can as individuals to protect what every one of us values above all — one another.

And for those of you out there providing essential services who don’t have the option of shutting your doors, we truly appreciate you.
